May 2010

Before we went to the Family Reunion we went to Gatlinburg, TN. We went to the Forbidden Caverns and hiked through the cave.

Ashley went through the whole cave carrying a flower off a tree outside the cave.

At the resort Dan was trying to read the Hobbit to the kids. Zack was worn out and fell asleep.

Ashley was wide awake though.

One of the hikes we took led us to this waterfall. We had a picture taken here when we did this hike the last time we came to the Smokey Mountain National Park

Zack and Ashley showing off their treasures they picked up on the hike.

Having fun on some amusement rides.

Zack was tall enough to drive a go-kart by himself on the kids track.

we hiked on another trail near the entrance to the Smokey Mountain park. There were many remnants of old homes that had been in the area a 100 years ago when this was farmland.

Ashley and Zack on some stairs that remain.

there were many chimneys or portions of chimneys still standing.

we reached the end of the trail, rest and head back.

heading back with Ashley on Dan's shoulders

someone was nice enough to stop and take our picture on a bridge

more rides

Dan took Ashley on a go-kart ride

yep - Ashley is asleep!

they were worn out at the end of every day and slept really good.

Back home, we went to the science museum with one of my friends and her niece Kayla.

playing in the sandbox at the rental house

we have found Ashley really likes peanut butter. She got a hold of the jar and was eating it out by the fist full

with some ladies from church we toured a hydroponic farm that grows mostly lettuce for restaurants in Orlando

Oh my goodness, your house is
G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! I love the kitchen and huge backyard! Hopefully one day Jason and I can find a house almost as cute as yours.
