On Saturday, Oct 15th, we finished the Hiking Spree at the metro parks. This was the first time we had Zack facing out in the carrier. He really liked looking around. He spent the entire time looking up like in this picture.

Today Zack is 9 weeks old. We went to his 2 month doctor's appointment this morning. He is 25 inches long and 16 lbs 3 ozs. He had his shots today so he is resting now, but he was mad earlier!

On Saturday we started the Hiking Spree through the park district. This was Zack's first hike. Erin sent us her baby carrier to borrow. It worked great. We've been on two hikes so far and Zack slept through both of them.
